Mountain Eagle Books

Thank you to all who came out to celebrate my sweet mama. I thought I had shared the live stream here at the beginning of the day however the only place I ended up sharing it was to the Mountain Eagle Books page. Anyhow, here is where you can find it. ✨💖✨

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Indeed. May we all share together, build together and honour and celebrate together.

Looking for some afternoon support for Papabear both behind the counter and in for cleanup, Sept 6-Oct 6 while Simon & Shola are away for dental work in Turkey.
Weary Papa Dave at the end of a Saturday. He is enjoying his time at Mountain Eagle immensely, however he is the epitome of a morning person, bright and fresh all morning and afternoon doldrums by 2/3:00.

Shola has been working a couple of solid afternoons a week as well as doing the tally up at the end of each day. It’s a challenge for Papa’s brain by the end of the day.

Simon has been doing the cleaning each afternoon or evening for a couple of hours. We have someone lined up able to do some of those days but we may need a couple of days covered still on cleanup/kitchen stuff

If you can learn our point of sale and barista services (experience in either would be a huge plus) we would love your help with the front customer service. As for end of day clean up it’s less technical but equally important and immensely helpful.
Any former employees or keen learning enthusiasts around that can help out while we are away would be so appreciated!

Please call and speak to Dave at Mountain Eagle 250-847-5245 or drop in on Monday to have a chat about helping out 🤗🙏🏽❤️

Let us honour actual books. Read them, value the writing that enlightens us and keep them real for reading by others.

Anthropic bought millions of physical books to train its AI chatbot Claude. Here are the facts about the books that were ‘destructively scanned.’

Mountain Eagle in the quiet of the morning. We are so looking forward to books to offer to the many people seeking inspiration. They will be honoured and so many will find new homes. See you soon.
