A little tale about these flowers....
My Mom grew an incredible flower garden with well established perennials, including these "poet's narcissus".
Ten years after my Mom passed away, I was planting some cover crop peas in that garden space, with hopes that this garden might once again be used.
That was 2022 that I discovered a few bulbs, because of where they were situated, I was fairly certain they were these amazingly scented narcissus.
I was so delighted the first spring the greens popped out and that initial bloom showed its beauty!

Thanks to the customer from Prince George that dropped by a couple weeks ago and gifted me a lovely little mushroom stitch marker that she had made. This sweet mushroom gesture gave me the idea to make some stitch markers for my yarn yurt!!

Went to today, here in Telkwa, to select from her treasure trove of handmade glass beads.
I took awhile, taking time to contemplate each one, keeping in mind my intent of creating stitch markers that would be bunched as a trio.

When I returned home, I searched through various stashes of beading wire and fishing gear....to my surprise found enough of both to begin.
(Still need to get some more split rings from the fish tackle shop to finish them all).
I loved the process of making these little gems, and it got easier as I figured out the best way to get the end of each wire tucked back up into the bead.
Admiring all the clusters, I had a really hard time deciding which bundle of 3 was my fav....still can't decide....I love them all.
The photos give some idea, but really best to come see them for yourself. A grand little gift and/or souvenir for anyone that needs to mark a stitch.
