The lead up to the show is hectic but also like Christmas because gifts start showing up!!!

Today's gift is from a scrumptious little shop downtown called The Sewing Club located at 1722 Lillian Road in Fairfield.

You walk in and there's linen and seersucker, silks and wool, cottons and denims - Oh My!! 😍 It's a feast for the eyes and honestly you have to control yourself to not run your hands over all the fabrics.

There are unique patterns and notions, a section of sashiko threads and needles and more. They specialize in natural textiles, sewing patterns from indie designers, and beginner-friendly sewing workshops......oh yeah did I mention they run workshops to show you how to make their unique awesome pattens?

You can find out more about them at their website: thesewingclub.ca

Oh and what did they gift the show?
Come to the show October 3rd and 4th for your chance to win it!

It's my pleasure to introduce Wicked Wanda as a new vendor to the show!

Wicked Wanda Pottery is handmade, small batch, functional pottery made by Sooke's own Erika Arbour-Nevins.

Having been bitten by the quilting bug herself quite recently it's no wonder her pottery reflects that : we all know what an obsession quilting is!!
