This 1920s salesman's package of suit cloth swatches is a true time capsule.
"A suit & extra pants..made to measure" ...just $24.75. Probably a good portion of a month's pay packet for the time.

Maybe you have an idea of what could be done with a suitcase of swatches or maybe these would make a great display.

A beautiful piece of pewter art by Canadian artist Slavko Dugar featuring an indigenous hunter in a birch bark canoe.
Dugar died in 2009 & was known for his representations of Canadian heritage, nature & indigenous people.
The detail in the bark alone is quite amazing.
Mounted on a 6"× 4" marble base it has good weight to it.
Ideal as a paperweight or stand alone art piece.

This piece comes with a story involving Ellen DeGeneres but it could be a bit disney too.
Regardless it's an amazing piece measuring 38.5"× 18", wood framed with a bit of a gothic black forest vibe going on.

Is it time to think of a roaring fire with all the hiss & crackle of logs burning??
Nothing like a show of brass to pretty up a fireplace, and nothing prettier than a vintage peacock fire screen & a chunky kindling box.

The peacock fire screen measures 37.5" at its widest & 24.5" high. Love that wee gargoyle face...$245+ gst.
The kindling/coal box measures 20.5"× 13" & 12.5" high. Its in excellent condition with its repoussé panels...$95+ gst.

Solid condition with just the right amount of rust spots to give it a rustic look but with funky fresh covered seating.
Not original glass top but who really wants to pay for a genuine replacement..ugh.
