At Midnight Lightning, we operate as if every day is Earth Day. Eco-responsibility is baked into our ethos and is exhibited in every product that we develop. It has been like this since we were founded, with a focus on bringing product sustainability to the climbing space. We started with our industry-first liquid chalk refill ecosystem in order to save more plastic from entering landfills and today, we continue to innovate.
Itās in the little things. From our choices in materials (like using dead stock fabrics and plant-based fibres), to less overt things like designing the plastic-free hangers for our Chalktopus. We can take risks and do things that larger corporations donāt have the flexibility to do. Our Seawater Chalk, the Vegan Eco-Brush and refill program are all examples of this.
For the coming year, we are looking to further reduce packaging waste, improve efficiencies, utilize more recycled (and dead stock) content, commit to ESGās, expand our supplier code of conduct and continue to give back to our awesome community!
We are planet-focused. We follow our hearts. We take risks. We are climbers that care. This is the difference between us and the others.
