Sweet peas don’t need to ask twice.

The fragrance. The movement. The colours. They’re every bit as lovely as I’d hoped they’d be.

From seed to bouquet, these are worth the wait. 🤍

I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with anemones… but here we are. 💜

These little blooms have completely won me over, and they’ve also shown me how valuable they are on a flower farm.

One of the biggest challenges in our climate is the “flower gap”—that stretch between spring bulbs finishing and summer annuals really taking off. Anemones bloom right in the middle of that transition, helping bridge the gap so I can keep creating beautiful bouquets for you.

That’s exactly the kind of flower I’m looking for as Brookside Blooms grows: beautiful, productive, and blooming when they’re needed most.

Something tells me this tiny patch is going to become a whole lot bigger next spring… and I can’t wait to share it with you. 💜

Not all tulips are created equal 🌷

Single tulips have that classic, elegant tulip shape we all know and love.

Double tulips are something else entirely, layers of petals that open into blooms that look more like peonies or roses than tulips.

These specialty varieties are in bloom here at Brookside Blooms, and I can’t stop staring at them.
