Notice to MTG Customers...

We are sorry to have to announce but for the foreseeable future we can't take any preorders on MTG product. We've been getting a lot of calls about the new Reality Fracture Commander decks so I went to check on my allocations from my wholesaler. I was just talking to one of my suppliers based on allocation numbers I just received. They pretty much confirmed the fact that Non WPN stores allocations are getting cut up front via request by Hasbro to cover WPN event holders for pre releases.. Specifically for play boosters for events... The other products availability will fluctuate for the future... I was allocated pretty much what I figured I was going to get for that.. Which was about 50% of what I ordered on some products.. This up front cut is also going to affect our ability to have singles for the set on release.. The same thing happened for us with the Hobbit set. There just wasn't enough product available to us to crack for singles and still have packs for customers so we opted not to crack packs.

Additional allocations are "supposed" to be available later because according to the wholesaler wizards is having real production issues with the last few sets and is looking at doing another wave 2 printing. I am hoping they can get things straightened out..... Thus the allocation slash up front not giving us enough to do preorders. We were also told that basically if we wanted more of an allocation overall to just join the WPN.. That's something we were a part of years ago which was fun but also a lot of extra work and frustration. The end result of that, we got booted from wpn because we couldn't keep up the metrics required (number of people showing up for events and engaged players on a regular basis). It's not a route I personally want to go through again because it's a bunch of hoops to jump through. I don't have the cash flow (we used to host free events), or free time, or extra manpower to take it on again and do it any real justice..

That being said we have also noticed a cut on things such as bundles over the past 2 years.. And other MTG availability fluctuates between in and out of universe sets from set to set. We have been noticing lower allocations mainly on out of universe sets.. Sadly this is a Hasbro created issue that unfortunately myself as a retailer, or my wholesaler really can't fix. So in this case we are given what we are given.. Not the quantity we request.. To quote someone way more intelligent than me "It is what it is".. I will do my best to secure product for you the customer from the sources I have available to me.. But preorders will no longer be available..

If it does eventually come down to a complete lack of availability and stability of the product / brand.. It being our #1 product line.. It will greatly affect our bottom line.. We have been noticing that already from set to set. And in the large scheme of things it could possibly even affect our ability in staying open as a retailer.. We will update this status in the future as things change, evolve, and are monitored by us. We appreciate the support and loyalty from our customers and all the products they try to purchase from us in these difficult times, what our wholesalers try to do in supplying all stores, and I will do my best given what I have available to work with. We arrived at these prices based on low supply.. We only received one display of each product due to allocation.. The High demand, and a high amount of scalpers. We can't do holds. It's first come first serve. Once it's gone it's gone we are unsure if any will be available to us in the future allocations .
