The 208th Royal St. John’s Regatta is going ahead, and the shopping centre is closed today, Wednesday, August 5th.

As North America’s oldest organized sporting event, with roots dating back more than 200 years, the Regatta is a proud Newfoundland and Labrador tradition. The day features exciting rowing races on Quidi Vidi Lake, along with family-friendly games, food vendors, entertainment, and community celebrations that draw thousands of spectators each year.

We wish everyone a safe, happy, and memorable Regatta Day!
