Coffee Take-Out coming soon! ☕️ The Quidi Vidi Village Artisan Studios is a craft incubator program housing ten emerging Artisans in their workshops overlooking scenic Quidi Vidi Village. A hub for creative activity, QVVAS is a great place to stop for a rest, take in the spectacular view, and get a rare insight into how these innovative craftspeople create their one-of-a-kind works. Ranging from t

extiles to ceramics, the fine craft produced right here in Newfoundland & Labrador is sure to inspire. Whether you're shopping for yourself or looking for a special gift for someone else, the quality and craftsmanship demonstrated here are second to none. Drop down and enjoy the Studios, chat with the artisans, and bask in the wonderful world of craft. Artisans work from their open studios five days a week, Wednesday to Sunday. Main floor is open to the public all week long with satellite pop-up shops by Craft Council of NL and Jacobean Chocolate. She's back! We are so excited to welcome Shona Stacey, the talented artist behind Seafolk NL, back to the Quidi Vidi Village Artisan Studios! 🧶🌊

Shona is a textile artist and educator from the Burin Peninsula, creating beautiful hooked rugs, felted landscapes, and mixed media fibre art inspired by Newfoundland’s coast and heritage. With a deep passion for preserving traditional craft and working with sustainable fibres, her work captures the spirit of salty air, strong winds, and resilient generations of Newfoundlanders! 💙

You may recognize the iconic Karla Courtney , the one and only knitter behind the famous Toronto Blue Jays sweater, which now resides in the Canadian Museum of History’s collection! 🇨🇦💙

Today, Rachel will be at The Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove Museum from 11 AM to 3 PM for their Vintage & Artisan Pop-Up Market. She will have product available for purchase at the Studios as per usual!
