I’ve been so impressed with my students background knowledge in all topics this year. 🦋Recently we have been covering Animal Lifecycles and it’s been exciting seeing students make connections from their own experiences! 🦋 This past week we read a story on monarch butterflies and it was so fun to hear kids shout out their predictions based on what they already knew about butterflies! 🦋

What are germs? A teaching memoir of the 20/21 school year. 🦠

In all honesty my students have been rockstars at keeping the germs at bay. Some days though we still work on the basics of what shouldn’t go in your mouth! Like scissors or cucumbers that were just covering both eyes! 🤪

In the meantime, it’s the weekend, so the Thieves is going strong at home!

I’m super excited to be starting a Language Arts unit on Magazines! Not only do they make me nostalgic of my youth, but the sky is truly the limit!

I’m looking forward to magazines with themes about dogs, Lego, dirt biking, Pokémon, owls, makeup, Minecraft and more! 💅🏼🐕🦉🏍

I love how a simple book can incite so much excitement! 📚♥️
