Hi friends and farm-ily,
Can we all agree that this spring has been.... well, that it hardly feels like it's even made an appearance this month, minus 36 hours where it was stupid hot last week? We know a lot of you are feeling the same, because we've been having these conversations on every sale day. Winter felt ENDLESS, spring has felt nonexistent and somehow it is the last week of May and the only things growing are the weeds, after all of that rain.
It's hard to get yourself in the mood for gardening, and with each passing day, we've been fighting the feeling that we're falling more and more behind -- Even though today is only the 24th of May and you are PATENTLY NOT FALLING BEHIND!!! (Whew! The Caps Lock is getting a workout today.)
However, we've talked to and heard from many of you that you just need some warmth and sunshine to be able to get started, and we feel that deeply. We've been looking after these plants for you for months for you, and we want them to be able to find nice homes with you! So Jen and I are going to split the field work/greenhouse work/manning the barn pad this week, and open every day until June 5th.
I *think* I have managed to update all of our various channels to share this new development, but I may have missed one (I have 14 things to change listed on a pad beside me, between social media, internet places and physical spaces, so the next time a local business misses something when they're making changes, you know why!) It would really help us get the word out if you'd like, share, or comment on this post, or tag a friend who needs to know they're just not behind in getting their gardens done.
Thank you!
