It's Contest time folks!

So we have mostly survived the Summer of Squishies - some of them didn't make it through - we want to see them! Post pictures to this post and on September 25th we will pick the most "loved/destroyed" Squishy!!

Update: Firstly we would like to thank everyone for their outpouring of support - it means so much ❤️. The youngsters have been identified and their parents/ guardians have taken the appropriate steps in correcting their behaviour. I will still keep my sign as we have had other children act disrespectful and need to protect stock. Thank you sooo much. Tammy

I am very sad to be making this kind of post but I want parents to understand why we now have a sign on our door saying NO Children under the age of 16 without an adult.

Yesterday around 1:30 I had 3 kids come into the store - 2 girls and a boy - they looked around and left - then 1 of the girls and the boy returned - the boy engaged my attention by asking about the Lego kits we have available - and the girl lifted a green Gummy Bear squishy - then they left. This is the first time we have known about a theft but we suspect that these kids have done this before - they have come into the store and "looked around" admitted they didn't have any money - and left while staff was engaged with other customers. I estimate that these kids are between 10-12 years of age. I will also be adding cameras to my front area so next time I can post picture of the offenders.

We have also had product bags squished and destroyed and items damaged into making them un-sellable.

We are a small business just trying to keep going - we appreciate the communities support and love meeting the kids but we just can't have stock walking out the door.

We hope you all understand our position - and if the description sounds like children you know or are in charge of I hope you will teach them better.
