Hey everyone! So just some heads up about the event I posted earlier. I left the event at 12:30 due to the fact that this , Amber, that was supposed to be organizing the event was a complete ahit show! I paid $90.00 for the weekend. All the vendors were told they would have 6 to 700 ppl shopping the event. We were lucky by 12:30 from 10:00 am to see 10 ppl other than vendors. They didn’t advertise anywhere about the event and had no signs at the road to even try to draw ppl in. They apparently had a swag bag and a silent auction theat most of us were not even told about. Who are the proceeds from the auction going to? Not sure on that. When I arrived at the hall a few ppl were angry already. One didn’t get the space she paid for and demanded a refund and another was the food truck as she had 2 food trucks when it was supposed to be just the one. Also they had someone going around with these little slips of paper asking if you would be in for the 2 days or just one. For one thing they should have known who paid for 2 days and who paid for 1. They wanted ppl to sign the paper saying that when they left all the items they brought to the hall to sell they were not responsible for our things overnight. I said “WHAT” I am floored. Also was supposed to be radio station and doing interviews with vendors, no radio! When I arrived at the hall they were on the phone gossiping and completely ignoring the ppl that had paid for a spot and didn’t know where to go. I had quite the walk into the building from my truck. Someone was parked in front of the walk way. Also she didn’t bother to tell us we could have brought the stuff in the back door, too busy on the phone and gossiping about the ppl that left angry. All her fault! I told her I want a full refund which she told me it is non refundable. So here I am holding up with my promise I made to her. I told her I would the public know how she is ripping ppl off.
