APPLEFEST 2026 Great day Saturday when 3 vendors sell out completely and 1 vendor did 20 TIMES their booth fees! 25 great vendors and we sold out of all apples, cider, candy apples, apple jams, apple butter, apple pies and sparkling cider. Live music from Chantal Musique was incredible as usual. Over 1400 folks supported us graciously with their patronage. We have enough now to fund the food for the Home Bosses Centre for a little while. Many young mouths to feed in the Youth Centre!

Finally getting to this after a busy weekend and incredible start to another week. At Comiccon 2026, we continued our fundraising projects with giving space to Zoodels3D, Thyme Charms, Marie Bilodeau and rising auther C.D. Smith. All were very pleased from record sales during the event. 60,000 people crammed the Cherre Centre (nee EY centre) to experience the vast sea of vendors. A fantastic show and we are pleased to see our vendors do so well!

So...this is how we spent our week-end. Saturday- 7AM: Went to Mane West Salon to set-up the tents tables tablecloths and chairs for their market fundraiser. Then; off to the Carp-Stittsville Flea market to meet with Elizabeth and talk about stuff.....shhhhh. IYKYK. Then over to pick up some donations of clothes, etc. for our next fundraiser. Then back to take down everything at Mane West....looks like they made out great! (The whole MWest crew looks like Charlie's Angels X 4) Then off to Manotick to schedule the Apples, Pies, Sauces, Cider and fixin's for Sept 17th Applefest. Then; sat on the porch with the VP of ISI Live to capture the week's adventures plan for the Stittsville Haunted Tours and look to the full moon setting. Sunday: Laundry....gotta do it eventually!

We will have close to 30 vendors (we don't post early and "Hype") but rather list the day before for accuracy. We will have corn-bread, Yoga demonstrations (bring a mat), Corn-hole demonstrations (did you know we have a championship team in Stittsville? Door Prizes, Music, and more! Fresh Corn- to take home or freshly cooked to eat now!
