The two pieces of media below depict what has been done with the Kawaii + Cat keyboard:

1. The lubing workstation for the keyswitches
2. The difference between a lubed switch and an unlubed switch

Lubing switches helps with producing a deeper, more rich sound signature, as well as improving the operation of the switch (less friction = more efficient).

For a 75% keyboard (which is what is being created for the Kawaii keyboard), there are 84 keys. Hence, you have to do the lubing process 84 times, which consists of:

1. Opening up the switch
2. Lubing the bottom housing, the stem, and the spring
3. Putting it back together.

Later today, there will be an announcement of the completed keyboard!

Visit it in the Bio, or contact here if you want something that either isn't offered on the store, or you live within 20 km of Stratford (The Keyboard Wizard will personally deliver your keyboard free of charge!)

As well, sometime later, there will be another mysterious keyboard that will magically pop up here and in the store (HINT: Cats 🐱)
