Been super busy at the little studio recently. John Dobrentey, the God of Thunder in Limits of Approach, needed some TLC on his bass. Then My long time pal Jamey Cann wanted to blow the dust and grime off his bass. 16 guitars done so far in 2026. Humbled to have so many talented people trust me with their twangers. 👊

A huge thank you to all my supporters this past year. This little hobby of mine has taken on a life of its own. Below is just some of the 30 guitars I had the privilege of working on in 2025. Just in time for Christmas… I introduce the Candy guitar! Just some beat up poorly painted thing I found on marketplace that called my name. I added some “artistic?” Flare to it and this was the finished product. Seymour Duncan STK S7 in the bridge, a hot rail middle, and some Fender locking tuners. Who knows, you may just see it grace a stage in the hands of my buddy Teddy!

Little late to the party on this one… but Kris Gear wanted a new look for his twanger. Based on his preferred colour scheme we came up with this radioactive looking thing! I went with a full on murdered out hardware selection including black locking tuners, bridge and strap buttons. Tossed in a Seymour Duncan JB SH-4 pickup and now this thing just rips! Thanks for trusting me with your projects Kris! 🍻

My buddy Kris Gear wanted a fresh look and some upgrades to his acoustic. After meticulously taping, it got hit with some paint and then aged to perfection. Adding some Fishman electronics, a full fret job, fret board love, and final action to be jealous of. Ready for its debut November 8th! Thanks for the support Kris! 🤟

Cushcaster 001, for my other partner in music… the one and only Cal Hill! It was actually Cal’s idea for me to do these guitars and label them “Cushcaster’s”. This one is fitted with all gold hardware, including locking tuners, gold GFS Vintage Split Fender humbuckers and CTS pots with a bridge split coil push/pull. Making its debut with The Strands tomorrow night, 8-12 at Koozy’s in London! Check these birds out! 🤟

Got bored again…

Teddy said he wanted an SG. So off to the workshop I went like Santa’s elf. Upgraded with a Seymour Duncan JB, locking tuners, roller ABR1 bridge, a splash of paint, a fight with some sand paper and chisels, and finished off with a dragon skull equipped with LED eyes that illuminate when plugged in. The finished product is Teddy’s CGC Cushcaster Demon SG 🤌

So I had some free time finally, and realized I had a ton of spare parts in stock. So I messaged Teddy and asked if he wanted a shiny guitar. He said nope and sent the 🔨 emoji. Haven’t done my own ‘relic’ in years. Usually my brotha,the world renowned FUGLY , takes care of that aspect of my builds. This thing turned out a wicked player! Ready for the next Limits Of Approach show 🤟
