Thank you to all of the people that have reached out with your concerns, support and love.
Our beautiful community is going through the most horrendous and difficult time right now. In the almost 5 years I have been open, if I have learned anything, I have learned that this community is so special and by far the best place to do what we do. Summerland is unique, it is truly what a community is.
Like the many others going through this, we are waiting and watching, praying and supporting wherever we can.
We will be closed until further notice. Thank you for all of your understanding and your support.
It is important to take a moment to thank all of the people involved, the firefighters who are giving every bit of their time and energy, their families who are standing behind them and supporting them and being without them as they fight to save our communities. Thankful for the emergency response teams that are all working together to do everything possible to save our communities, and for their families who are without them as they focus on taking care of what is necessary. Thankful for all of the wonderful people and volunteers that have come together in the community to support one another with getting evacuated, finding lodging, finding food and necessities, and just showing love and prayer. Thankful for a province and a country who is reaching out and showing love during a Time that is so terrifying and tragic for so many.
