It was a very long weekend for both Jeff & I. Countless hours renovating & sorting 1/64's.

It was a amazing surprise to have 1 of our good customers text us last night to say he was dropping off a series he found for my own collection, while he was in the USA this past week.

Thank you Colton Townsend for helping me add to my collection. And for dropping it off on your way back to Edmonton after a long day traveling.

My Car Tuned collection will be displayed in the store, as 1 of the final phases.

Also, since the Man cave is full of Jeff's Diecast stuff, the store will have to also act as my "She cave".

Ha ha baby, , my space is bigger then yours. 🤣🤣

BMM Consignments & Artisan Market will re-open this Thursday Aug. 20th. And return to normal operating hours.

The fall cleaning & reno. won't be 100 % completed by then. But the little things can be done while the store is open.

Picked up the order from Windy Acres Thread & Ink tonight for Phase 5.

What could that be??? Wait & see. They will make the 1/64 hunting a whole lot easier to find exactly what you are looking for.

But tonight & tomorrow we work on Phase 4.

REMINDER, WE ARE CLOSED FOR RENOS & WILL RE-OPEN (Thursday Aug. 20)

Well phase 3 is now up & I have another full day ahead of me tomorrow moving stock over to its new location.

I may be the organizer & cleaner, but Jeff is definitely the muscles behind the renovations.

These sheets of slat wall weigh in at 100 lbs each.

Sexy, strong husband I have. ❤️❤️

We are extremely hardcore into this renovation. I am realizing just how extensive this 1 is. And also how old my body feels. 🤣

With Jeff working M - F, a lot of the heavy lifting has to wait until he is home.

Instead of having potential tripping hazards throughout the store & a crazy mass confusion for where items are sitting temporarily, which just prolongs the reno.

Plus there is a whole lot of new stock that needs to be put into its new location.

We will stay closed this week & re-open bright & fresh on Thursday Aug. 20th.

If you are in dire need of a particular item, do not hesitate to reach out to us directly & we can accommodate.

The transformation is already amazing us. 😊

Back wall shelves are breaking into 2 now. Tomorrow's job, the next 3 slat wall.

Store continues to be a bit of a gong show, but we are keeping a steady pace.

After hours, means running out of town to look & advise on a New Consignment that will be coming in soon.

Then back home to paint in the garage. New slat wall needs painting before getting hung up. Trying to get the reno. done as quickly as possible.

Fall will sneak in quickly, a lot of things have to be checked off before cold weather hits.

Business wise & personal property wise.

My secret to keeping motivated at over 50:
I STAY VERY WELL CAFFEINATED. 🤣🤣

Days off Consist of putting items in their new location.

I need Jeff's strength with the heavy lifting & placement of the slat wall.

We are remaining open during our renovation for all your needs.

We are excited for the final outcome. As it will make keeping track of business inventory & finding what the collectors want, a whole lot easier.

Now that I have a few empty shelves available, the day has come to start the organized chaos.

Jeff & I will be slowly embarking on the Final renovation of the store.

So you may see Consignments in the business section for a bit.

We will get this done as fast as we can, while also trying to enjoy the remainder of the summer.

The outside of the building will look the same & businesses you have come to trust and love will remain. Just the inside will be getting a full make over.

We are shifting our focus on the things we love the most which is Collectables, Consignments of Full business shutdowns, & Consignments on a larger scale.

Some exceptions will apply, but will have to be throughly approved by us.

Shout to Sundre Home Hardware Building Center, who as always orders what we need.

BMM Consignments & Artisan Market will remain open our regular operating hours during the reno.
