Why do dogs howl?

It is very normal for dogs to be vocal in order to communicate how they are feeling, much like any other animal. Some dogs are more vocal than others, some dogs bark while other dogs howl. Although howling could be annoying or worrisome, there are some simple explanations for why it may be happening.
• Your pet may want attention
•They could be communicating to other dogs
• They could be alerting you to potential danger
• It May be triggered by high pitched sounds.

However it is important to know your pet because howling could be a sign of a larger problem like separation anxiety or pain and discomfort.

But some dogs just like to sing.
