We plant 200 sunflowers every 10 days so that we have a continuous supply from June until the last frost.
This means that we have row space sitting empty waiting for the sunflowers to be planted.

We used the ends of the rows to plant 600 ranunculus as well as anemones knowing that they would be long over by the time we needed the space.

Many people do not dig up and store their corns but it is easy to do and it saves us money. In our zone we are never sure if they will survive the winter.

The ranunculus double or triple during their season so we will have more for next year!

We’re really hoping these grasses will make it!! They would be absolutely stunning in a bouquet 🥹

We LOVED Bunny tails last year so we knew we had to expand to other varieties! These are all the kinds of decorative grasses we’re currently growing as a trial. Let us know if you have a favourite or a suggestion for another type that we should grow! 🌱💕

Hopefully things will run a bit smoother from here on out 😅 The realities of flower farming!

No doubt about it, being around flowers makes you happy 😊

We are loving the abundance right now! This bouquet has sunflowers, cosmos, Shasta daisies, snapdragon, rudbeckia, yarrow, and agrostemma. 🌸💕🌸

We love these days! Flower farming is hard work but seeing our flowers go home with our truly lovely customers is exactly why we do it!
We get to meet our kind of people. The ones who love flowers!🥰

Dara is a favourite in bouquets! I succession plant it so that we can use it in bouquets up until the fall.

We grow many different types of fillers on our flower farm because we think they really set off the focal flowers and add magic and glitter. 💕

Dara will absolutely be going into some of the bouquets this weekend!! 🥰

We sure have fun coming up with new beautiful posie and bouquets. One of the joys of flower farming. 💕

It’s also kind of fun guessing which bouquet people will choose. Not very accurate on this yet but we have many months to get better at it!
