Handcrafted Orthodox Christian Educational Toys Orthodox Toys is a Canadian educational toy maker. Our goal is to create handcrafted wooden toys We use Canadian Red Western Cedar wood to build these toys.

Our goal is to create handcrafted wooden toys that children can play with while learning about Orthodox Church, faith, Holy Land, and Orthodox traditions. This wood is well-known as one of the most beautiful, durable and fragrant wood species in Canada. We also use Olive Wood harvested in Bethlehem. These toys are amazing gifts for kids and also ideal for Orthodox Church Sunday schools.

This educational icon I’m working on today is about the Poor Widow’s Offering. It includes exact replicas of the widow’s two bronze lepta (“widow’s mites”), allowing children and adults to see and hold coins similar to those mentioned in the Gospel.
I enjoy creating hands-on educational tools that help bring Scripture to life.
