Echo'Ed Notebooks Echo'Ed, a student run business venture, promotes sustainable education, social responsibility, as well as the involvement of youth in our local community.

Echo’ED, a student social enterprise, strives to provide high-quality and affordable environmentally- friendly notebooks while upholding business ethics, embracing social-responsibility and providing an innovative platform for youth to showcase their artistic talents. Echo’ED strongly believes that youth, the workforce of tomorrow’s global economy, has the power to render positive change in societ

y and in the world. That’s why, twenty-one youth leaders from Surrey, British Columbia, Canada have come together to establish a business venture, out of a simple idea to something extraordinary. The ‘niche’ of our product comes from the special graphic designs, created by local young artists, of which we are featuring on the notebooks. Within the design itself, there is a special purpose and theme that are to be presented. The three themes are: A Green Future, leaders of tomorrow, and friendship. First, artists are invited to a contest via social media, Facebook, where they will share ideas to finally submitting their own designs by an appointed date. The selection process is in the hands of the executive board. The final notebook is then sent to an environmentally-friendly local manufacturer in Delta B.C, produced, then marketed locally. Alas, all profit is donated to a local charity. Our goal is to promote sustainable education amongst youth, uphold social responsibility, and render positive change in our community with the power of innovation

We are pleased to announce that Michelle Zhong, a grade 12 student at Semiahmoo Secondary, is the winner of the Echo'ED 2014 Graphic Design Contest.

Her design will be used on the front cover of our notebook!

WHO WE ARE:
Echo’Ed is a group of twenty-one like minded high school students from Surrey, British Columbia, Canada who have drive and initiative to explore and learn the basics of business through risk taking and above all, team work. We’ve come together to establish a business venture, out of a simple idea to something extraordinary.
