Going on a summer adventure tomorrow? 🌻

If your travels bring you through Sussex, stop by and wander with us. We’ve been refreshing the shop all week and filling the shelves with new-to-us treasures just in time for the liveliest day of the week.

Vintage glassware, old books, baskets, beautiful things for the home and plenty of little treasures waiting to be discovered.

It’s hard to believe flea market weekend is already over! We hope everyone had a wonderful time and scored some good treasures along the way. 🤎

We had so much fun wandering through the market ourselves, and now we can’t wait to dig into our finds and start sharing some of them with our Meadow House wanderers.

We have lots of work ahead of us, but you can expect plenty of new additions to the shop by the end of the week. 👀

It’s gearing up to be a busy weekend here in Sussex, and we’re so happy to welcome all of the vendors and visitors coming to town.

A new week begins at Meadow House 🌿

One of the most anticipated weekends of the year for antique & vintage lovers is almost here — the annual Sussex Flea Market!

If you find yourself wandering off the flea market grounds this weekend, come wander with us on Main Street. We’ll be here with a shop full of old things, good things, and plenty to discover.

Not everything finds its way to Meadow House. One of the questions we hear most often is, “How do you decide what belongs in the shop?”

The answer is simple: we choose what resonates with us. Every piece is chosen with intention. We look for things that tell a story—objects that reflect our local roots, our history, and the way of life that has shaped this part of the world.

Whether it’s well-worn denim, Canadian history, a cowboy hat, heritage textiles, or a pressed wildflower, we hope each collection feels thoughtful, familiar, and connected to a place.

That’s what curation means to us. Everything here is intentional. Everything has a story.

Things have been a little quieter on social media this week, but it’s been wonderfully busy here at the shop.

We’ve been so grateful for everyone who’s stopped in lately—whether it was your first visit, your fifth, or you brought along friends and family to wander with. Thank you for making Meadow House part of your day.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been out treasure hunting, unpacking new finds, and getting fresh pieces ready for the floor. There are lots of lovely things making their way into the shop over the next little while, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
