Meet Us Monday with Joseph Plesh from our Food Store 🍗

⭐Time at Co-op: 10 years
💼Job title: Meat Manager
⚙️Main duties: Managing inventory and ordering, supervising staff, cutting and preparing meat, maintaining food safety standards, merchandising displays, and helping guests find exactly what they need.

🗨️Favourite part of the job: “I enjoy working at the Co-op because of the strong team environment and connection to the community. I applied after moving back to the Valley from Red Deer, AB where I was supervising a Co-op gas bar. I wanted to stay with the company but try something different. Working with a great team and taking pride in running a solid department is what keeps me coming back. My favourite part of the job is helping guests and seeing my department looking the best.”

Fuel Good Day is back!

This year we’re raising funds for the Swan Valley Crisis Centre. 10¢ from every litre of fuel sold, 5¢ from every pound of propane sold, $1 from every Big Cool or Co-operative Coffee purchased, and all proceeds from our $10 hamburger lunch will go directly toward supporting the important work they do in our community.
