We are a family owned and operated greenhouse located in southwest Saskatchewan in the thriving community of Swift Current. The greenhouse has a long history, established by Vern Smith in 1954, purchased by Sherman & Doreen Lyngstad in 1986. Still at the original location and still using the original buildings, we strive for consistent high quality in every plant we produce.

Fall planting trees, shrubs and perennials is the only time I ever plant them!

Lower temperatures means less transplant shock and less watering.
There also root growth occurring, even if it doesn't look like anything is happening on top.
Being planted in the fall also gives everything a head start next spring because plants are growing before they start to show signs of life up top!

If you are right in the middle of the busy-ness of life, NOW is when I'd recommend to plant trees, shrubs and perennials!
