Cool Cotton Candy Co. – Business Opportunity
After several years of fun, creativity, and lots of cotton candy, William and I have decided that it’s time to pass Cool Cotton Candy Co. on to someone who can take it in a new direction!
We are offering the business as a blind/silent bid opportunity, with a minimum starting bid of $1,250.
The business includes the cotton candy equipment and supplies we have accumulated, including machines, machine parts, containers, stickers/labels, and other related materials. We have conservatively estimated the total value of the equipment, inventory, and supplies at approximately $4,000. (You can request a detailed inventory if you’re interested, just DM us)
But this sale isn't simply about who offers the most money.
What we're looking for...
Interested buyers are invited to submit:
1. A bid of at least $1,250, and
2. A brief vision for what you would do with the business.
Your vision might include how you would operate or grow the business, where you see opportunities for it, whether you would continue using the Cool Cotton Candy Co. name or create something entirely new, and what makes this opportunity exciting to you.
You are not required to keep the Cool Cotton Candy Co. name or branding. We are happy for the next owner to make the business their own.
How will the successful buyer be chosen?
William and I have both agreed that we want to choose the buyer based on the overall proposal—not necessarily the highest bid.
Our goal is to find someone who has a great idea for the business and who we believe will have fun with it and take it somewhere exciting.
The successful bid will therefore be determined by a combination of:
- The financial offer
- The vision for the business
- The potential for the business to succeed and grow
- The overall fit with what we hope for its next chapter
The minimum acceptable bid is $1,250, but a higher bid will not automatically win.
How to submit a bid?
Please submit your bid amount and a brief description of your vision for the business in a private message/email by September 8, 2026.
All bids will remain confidential. William and I will review the proposals together and select the buyer we feel is the best fit.
