For those who do not know, at LC we do not use synthetic fragrances. Our fragrance blends are phthalate + paraben free, making them a much better option for those with scent sensitivities or allergies. We also do not use essential oils, making them a more pet-friendly option.

HOWEVER, we realize some people just don’t like scents in their home!

So, a little reminder that ALL of our candle labels are available in an UNSCENTED option. You can still enjoy the cozy ambiance of a quiet candle flicker (and your favourite label), just without the scent 😊🕯️✨

FUNDRAISER!

Well, after what was our busiest week getting into pumpkin spice season, we went MIA for nearly two weeks… because our indoor cat also went MIA!

We spent 4 days and nights searching with headlamps through the woods, abandoned buildings, neighbours’ yards, basically anywhere we thought Kiwi could be.

During what was an extremely stressful few days, we made some really great connections. One of them was Shannon from the Feral & Abandoned Cat Society (FAACS), who reached out wanting to help us find Kiwi.

For 4 days, Shannon stayed in constant contact with us, came out to help, set up a bait station and trail camera, and put a significant amount of her own time into finding a cat — and helping a family — she had never even met prior to this. That really touched our hearts 🥹❤️

On the 4th night, after refilling the bait station Shannon had set up, we finally went home and got into bed. Around 1 AM, Shannon sent me a photo from the trail cam… IT WAS KIWI!!!

We headed straight back into the woods near our home and finally brought her home. She was hungry and clearly very lost, but she was safe. ❤️

We had offered a $1,000 reward for Kiwi’s safe return, and now that she’s home, we’ll be donating that $1,000 directly to FAACS.

But we also wanted to do something that continued beyond this experience. Our HOME IS WHERE THE CAT IS candle will fundraise for FAACS until year-end with all proceeds donated directly to the society.

It’s available in all 12 of our signature scents PLUS our unscented option and our fall scents!

Our 3rd and final fall scent is one we’ve been pouring A LOT of… we’re THAT sure you’re going to freakin’ love it as much as we do!!!

Available tomorrow at 12 noon, Warm Santal! This scent is smooth and slightly sweet, with notes of sweet vanilla, soft musk and rich santal. It’s cozy and comforting with a slightly elevated, perfume-like feel that makes it lovely for fall 🍂🕯️

We seriously can’t wait for you to smell this one!!!
