ONE YEAR AGO I started East Coast Thrifts and had no idea where this little journey would take me 🥹🖤

So for the ONE YEAR anniversary, I’m throwing a BIG thank-you night for all of you.

I’m bringing out TONS of vintage back stock and pricing it to GO. Think antiques, collectibles, furniture, decor, random treasures, music, open bar and a few extra surprises I’ll be revealing over the next few days 👀✨

There might even be a little treasure scooping, some sparkle, and something fun you can leave wearing… but I’m not giving everything away yet 😉

This is my anniversary gift back to everyone who has followed, shared, shopped and supported me since day one. I want this one to feel like a giant treasure hunt and a really fun night out.

THIS is such a cool piece 👀

Beautiful antique oak stacking barrister bookcase with gorgeous wood grain, glass front sections and so much original character.

One of the best parts about these old stacking bookcases is that it comes apart into multiple individual sections, making it much easier to remove and transport than it looks!

Overall in great antique condition. The glass on the bottom section is broken and will need to be replaced, which is reflected in the price. The remaining glass is intact.

Perfect for books, collectibles, vintage displays or as a statement piece in an older home.

There are a lot of new faces here lately, so I wanted to share a little more about what I actually do 🤍

East Coast Estates & Staging is about so much more than estate sales.

A lot of the families I work with are already carrying enough. A loss in the family, parents downsizing, a move, a home that needs to be sold, or simply years of belongings that have become too much to sort through alone.

That’s where I come in.

I help with full home, garage and basement clear-outs, sorting and organizing, downsizing, selling belongings, estate sales, donations, disposal, packing and moving help, cleaning, staging and getting homes ready for their next chapter.

You do not need to have everything figured out before you reach out. Sometimes the biggest relief is just having someone come in, make a plan and take some of that weight off your family.

Okay Cape Breton… this one feels pretty special. 🥹

Of Kin & Keep has officially been nominated for the 2026 New Business of the Year Award through the Cape Breton Regional Chamber of Commerce!

We opened our doors with a pretty big dream: to create something different on Charlotte Street. A space where local makers, artists, authors, vintage collectors and small businesses could come together under one roof. A space built around community, creativity and giving people a place to belong.

And somehow, in less than a year, here we are. 🥹

Four women. Four moms. Four small business owners who decided to take a chance on an idea and figure it out as we went.

Every purchase, every share, every vendor who trusted us with their work, every person who walked through our doors, every cruise ship day, late night, rearranged display, baby brought to work and chaotic group chat has helped build this little shop into what it is.

To whoever nominated us, thank you. Truly. Knowing that someone in our community believed Of Kin & Keep deserved to be recognized means more than we can put into words.

We’re still new. We’re still growing. And if you’ve been following along lately, you already know we have some pretty exciting ideas for what comes next. 👀✨
