Fun fact:
The first bicycle was invented in 1817 by a German inventor named Karl Drais.
His invention was called the “Draisine” (or “running machine”). It didn’t have pedals—riders sat on it and pushed along with their feet on the ground, similar to a modern balance bike.
Pedal-powered bicycles didn’t appear until the 1860s, when inventors in France added pedals to the front wheel, leading to later designs like the penny-farthing.
Bicycles have evolved a tremendous amount since then!!! So if your bike feels like its from the 1800s..... maybe its time for a tune up 😉🚲
