🩵Artisantique is a true community home, a place where artisans, families, creativity and community come together.

Artisantique has always been about more than what’s on our shelves.

Before Artisantique, I was an artisan too. I knew what it was like to create something with my own hands, put myself out there, and try to turn that passion into something that could help support a family.

I also knew what I wished existed…. a beautiful place where handmade work was truly valued, where artisans had support behind the scenes, and where the business of handmade still felt human.

So I built it. ❤️

And we do business a little differently here.

We believe business can have a heart. That you can take commitments seriously while still leading with empathy, kindness and understanding. We care about how our decisions impact the people around us, while finding the balance that allows Artisantique and the artisans within it to grow and thrive.

Because behind every business is a human being. ❤️

Today, Artisantique gives makers, creators and small businesses a place to be seen, discovered and supported. And when you shop here, that support goes far beyond our front door, it reaches real people, real families and real dreams.

And now we’re growing that vision even further. 🌿

Handmade artisan goods. Local food & drink. A refillery encouraging reduce & reuse. And a space built around community.

We may be a small shop, but together we can make a mighty impact.

🩵A little clarification about Artisantique and the Refillery we’re building inside our store…🩵

I know there’s been some confusion since last month’s announcement about Artisantique reopening and sharing our space with another local business, so I wanted to personally clear things up.

Those plans have since changed, and Artisantique will be reopening independently.

I’ll be honest this is a difficult update for me to share. Artisantique had already changed course from closing and begun preparing to reopen when I learned that our original plans would no longer be moving forward.

By that point, a lot was already in motion. Renovations were underway, artisans and other small businesses had made their own commitments, and preparations for the Refillery had already begun.

Accountability, empathy and doing right by people are values I believe belong in business, too.

There were now people who had made decisions based on what was coming, and I couldn’t feel right allowing them to carry the impact of circumstances they had no part in creating.

I had already prepared myself to say goodbye to Artisantique. Reopening independently wasn’t the plan. But sometimes doing what feels right means adapting when the plan changes.

So I pivoted. And we’re moving forward. ❤️

The Refillery being built inside Artisantique is our own new addition. We’re starting small, including products from some of our own artisans, some popular brands and we’ll grow it alongside our community. 🌿

When we originally announced that a Refillery was coming, more than 248 people shared in that excitement. That meant something to me.

So while the original plans changed, I’m keeping that promise.

There are private business details that will remain private. I was surprised and disappointed by the change, leaving me in a position but I hold no hard feelings and genuinely wish everyone involved success.

Now we move forward.

Artisantique is reopening.
The Artisantique Refillery is coming. 🌿
And we’re making it our own.

Sometimes the plan changes. The promise doesn’t have to.

Things are really starting to take shape inside the newly renovated Artisantique, and we are getting SO excited for you to see it! 🩵

Our new Refillery section is officially coming together, and we already have some fan favourites and popular everyday products lined up. Including refill options from some of our very own Artisantique artisans! 🥰

But we want YOUR input too!

As we continue building and expanding the Refillery, what products would you love to be able to refill locally?
