Just over a week until we have the pleasure of welcoming UK based designer and maker, Jo Davda, to Inheritance Studios for an afternoon conversation on the relationship between food + objects.

Over the past 30 years, Jo has explored the connection between the objects we live with and the ways we nourish ourselves and one another — how a bowl, a table, or a shared meal can hold memory, meaning and togetherness.

Join us for an intimate conversation exploring Jo’s history of making, the evolution of her practice and the philosophies that continue to shape her work.

A conversation with UK based ceramic artist Jo Davda, designer and maker of .

Jo will be sharing her reflections on the beauty of functional objects, the rituals of gathering and shared meals that formed the inspiration for many of her shapes and the ways vessels can hold memory, connection and togetherness through food and daily ritual.

Conversation begins at 2:30, with questions and time to chat to follow.

Light snacks, and beverages by Drinks Farm, will be provided. RSVP not required, but appreciated!
