East Coast Canada Trip
April to May of 2026

As our trip continued we headed over to PEI for a day before heading back to New Brunswick for two more show.

We would live to explore PEI for a longer period of time and hope to do so in the future!!

We also love Fredericton with all its rivers. and Saint John had some amazing architecture.

We have some new specimens of Fluorite mostly from China. Multiple locations with varying colours and formations.

Some Golden Goethite from Turkey. With unique Stalactite and Botryoidal growth habits.

A wonderful selection of unchipped Moldavite specimens from our latest trip to Czechia!!

In early June, we had the opportunity to dig Blue Point Amethyst Mine in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Owned by Jordan and Krisia! They are super knowledgeable and helpful!

They are open from Early June to September. So if you ever find yourself up in Thunder Bay during those months, be sure to stop by.

Add Český Krumlov to your bucket list!!

Český Krumlov is a Unesco Medieval Town located in Southern Czech Republic. This quaint Old Town has one of the largest castles in Czechia. With quaint shops, cafes, artisans and the Moldavite Museum!!

Moldavite Digging in Czechia!🇨🇿

When we go visit family in Southern Czech Republic, we always make a trip to go digging at the Besednice Mine!

Moldavite is a tektite that was formed from a meteorite impact over 14 million years ago. The silica in the earth was superheated during this impact, forming these jewel like green tektites!

Digging for Moldavite is fun, hard work and very rewarding! To be the first person to touch these pieces is so exhilerating!
