Before there was Norm & Lenore Chocolates… there was Bray’s Restaurant. ❤️

Someone recently shared these photos with us, and what a little piece of family history they are.

Bray’s Restaurant in Harriston was owned by my grandparents, Norm and Lenore. Eventually, my parents took over the restaurant, continuing what had become a family business.

Looking through this old menu is pretty amazing. The 25¢ soup. The 35¢ sandwiches. The 50¢ three-pancake breakfast. A 65¢ club sandwich. And a $2.00 T-bone steak. 😂

But beyond the prices, what makes this special to me is seeing what Norm & Lenore started so long ago!

Decades later, we’re still putting their names on food, just in a very different form. 🍫

From Bray’s Restaurant in Harriston to Norm & Lenore Chocolates in Toronto… I guess food has always been part of our family.

A pretty amazing little piece of our history. ❤️
