Alan is a passionate mountaineer who channels over 30 years of climbing experience into his deeply reflective memoir in verse, โ€œReflections on Mountaineering: A Journey Through Life as Experienced in the Mountains.โ€ A graduate of Horace Mann School, Harvard College, and Harvard Law School, he was also elected to the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Society in 1979, a testament to the same discipline and dedication that drives him up every summit.
