An exploration of food, flavour, and the art of charcuterie with Fat Rabbit and Jesse Tree Fine Foods. Get ready to graze in style at Board and Barrel – Hale Muskoka’s Second Annual Charcuterie Experience.

Join charcuterie master Chef Justin Upper, the Head Butcher and Charcutier at Fat Rabbit, where he leads one of Canada’s most ambitious whole-animal, zero-waste charcuterie programs. Justin’s work helped earn Fat Rabbit a place on Air Canada enRoute’s Top 10 Best New Restaurants of 2024 recognition in the Michelin Guide and Canada’s 100 Best. Their approach reflects a commitment to flavour, sustainability, and the kind of hospitality that turns a meal into a lasting experience.

The experience includes a Hale charcuterie board, a selection of artisanal preserves, meat and cheese from Jesse Tree Fine Foods, curated libations, and a live charcuterie experience with Fat Rabbit. Pull up a chair and assemble your board while Fat Rabbit walks you through their craft, flavour pairings, and shares samples of their exceptional ingredients.
