You Asked, We Answered
This week's counter question:
๐ฌ What's a cultivar, and why don't you just say strain?
Short answer: cultivar is the more precise term for a cultivated variety with a documented lineage.
Strain is still the word most people use, and that's totally fine. You'll see both terms around.
We'll know what you mean either way. No vocabulary test required at our counter.
