Phal. Tying Shin Fly Eagle
🧬 Phalaenopsis tetraspis × Phalaenopsis Dragon Tree Eagle

Polychilos fam—the tropical, fragrant sequential bloomers. This phal keeps producing new buds along the spike for weeks or months of continuous flowers.

Phal tetraspis parentage brings that alternating petal pattern genetic characteristic, which creates the striking red and yellow petals with that vibrant purple lip. It can also hold more flowers from the tetraspis genetics than other polychilos, resulting in a spray of gorgeous red and yellow.

**Paph. Gary Romagna**
🧬 Paphiopedilum rothschildianum × Paphiopedilum Saint Swithin | 📍 Southeast Asia

Such a stunning lady slipper with those striped petals—burgundy and cream with gold veining. Gary Romagna brings together two powerhouse parents. The flowers are multifloral, meaning multiple blooms on a single spike. Roth's genetics bring long-lasting blooms and that strong, stalky spike. New hybrid, very limited quantities.

Polyantha subgenus—the multifloral lady slippers. This group is defined by their ability to carry multiple flowers on a single spike, native across various regions of Asia.

Paph. Yi-Ying Red Sun (NEW IN)
🧬 Paphiopedilum sigmatapetulum hybrid | 📍 Southeast Asia

This is a new hybrid with our previously stocked Yi-Ying Santa Clause. Deep magenta petals with burgundy undertones and that signature pouch. As we mentioned in our talk, Sigmatapetulum lady slippers are known for being easy to grow—terrestrial orchids that thrive in humus-rich soil.

This hybrid brings a more reliable dark wine with stunning saturation (although they are seed cross, will still have variability).

who said phal leaves have to be boring?? 🌿

Heavily mottled silver and green foliage is stunning on its own — no blooms needed. and those dark purple to near-black leaves? that’s anthocyanin, a natural pigment triggered by light, temperature, or just genetics. totally normal, honestly kind of beautiful.

- Phal. schilleriana ‘Pink Butterfly’ AM/AOS
- Phal. Salu’s Fragrancy
- Phal. Miki Silvermist ‘Smooth’
- Phal. Bronze Maiden ‘Rio’

foliage is so underrated 🖤

Phal. OX Red Sesame

cream petals covered in red spots. red is actually rare in orchids—most are pink, purple, white. so when you find a true red like this, it’s special. dense spots, long-lasting blooms. easy to grow, reliable.

Philodendron gloriosum
📍 Colombia (Primarily) | Native to tropical rainforests

This terrestrial beauty crawls along the forest floor in its native Colombian habitat—it's a runner, not a climber. Heart-shaped leaves with velvety texture and pink margins that are absolutely stunning. Like other large-leafed aroids, frequent watering creates that humid microclimate your orchids are begging for. We spotted this one and couldn't resist—those striped leaves are just gorgeous and the leaf are GINORMOUS. Warm, humid conditions and loose, well-draining soil and let it dry. It'll make a rainforest vibe in your space!

Macodes petola
📍 Southeast Asia | Malaysia, Philippines, Sumatra, New Guinea
Jewel orchid native to the rainforest floor. Those leaves—glittery silver veins on deep green—are absolutely mesmerizing. The metallic shimmer comes from the leaf structure itself, not pigment. Terrestrial, loves humidity and shade, just like where it grows in the wild. Rare to find. If you’re a foliage lover, this one’s pure visual magic.

Philodendron plowmanii 'Watermelon'

Large leafy plants like this create something orchid growers crave—humidity. The Watermelon's frequent watering needs build a humid microclimate that orchids absolutely love. It's the perfect pairing strategy for your collection. We don't carry many tropical aroids, but when we spot something we like and relatively inexpensive, we add... some.. many, to our space for a visual impact.. Those silver-variegated leaves with deep green veining and burgundy undersides.. It's like watermelon skin—so cute!!
