On the road of this small business venture, I’ve come to a bit of a bend. A Sapele budget slimline pen and a Wormy Maple pen rest. I’ve been working on a design for a pen rest for over a month. This is the one I’m focusing on for now. It’s minimalist and nondescript, doing its job quietly. The pen rest works very well in a small space because of its footprint, or it can become a focal point on a more open desk. The sail car idea is sticking with me. After watch some students work with the first design, I decided to try this. The goal with this one is to have students think less about building the car and focus more on propelling it using wind energy.
