Reflective Pause
A meditation

Sit quietly and bring to mind a time when you felt you wouldn’t survive your heart breaking.

Inhale deeply and try to remember the moment the breaking began to turn to an opening.

Exhale deeply and try to remember what that felt like.

Inhale fully and put your hands on your heart, trying to feel the strong place at the center where your heart began to mend.

Exhale fully into the world, accepting the mystery that a broken heart; if given time; is a stronger heart.

Show #8 of this year’s show series featured Bellydancer based in Toronto, Canada with Moskitto Bar world music showcasing a diverse and eclectic sounds intentionally curated with from artists from Colombia, Britanny (the Celtic part of France, Syria, Ghana, Japan, India and Canada.. reflecting musical signatures, rhythms and tones distinct to these cultures.
