Meet our longtime friends of the shop, Jalil and Emma. They’ve been doing amazing things over at Jamil’s, and it’s quickly become one of our go-to spots and top recommendations for anyone coming into town. We asked them what the restaurant means to them and to the community it’s a part of:

“Working and hanging around this neighbourhood, it feels really special to have a permanent home exist here. It’s become a base for west end misfit brown kids and beyond - nostalgic for some, something totally new for others. A place to share South Asian food made with local ingredients and drink some fun wine and cocktails. At the end of the day, we hope to foster what can ultimately be another classic Toronto west-end spot”
