Let’s talk about what it really takes to just operate a business and try to push to next levels—not the aesthetic, not the product shots—but the actual sacrifices:

1. Time stops being yours for a while

Expect long hours days (outside of the physical space). You’ll spend more “days off” catching up on inventory, payroll, vendor emails, medias and breakdowns—mental and mechanical or you just cannot stop thinking in figuring things out as you scaled.

2. You have a an amazing team, but now with a bigger responsibility it also feels lonely

Your amazing team will support you, but by the end, the major decisions, the trials, the risk, it’s all in yours babe and you start focus to work on the business instead solely in the business and sometimes feels an empty space.

3. Burnout is real

If you don’t have systems running, good team members, clear boundaries, …your passion starts to feel like a prison.

4. Learning happens everyday

Everyday still such a lesson and as more you push yourself, more you create situations and opportunities to learn and put yourself out there, even when it feels so scary.

…But, the dream is still worth it, the purpose to create and transform will always be a reward, trust me! Seeing all the excitement because of something you created is amazing.

You just need to walk into it with mind, heart and both eyes open ✨🙏🏾

It already became our traditional and we always feel in love to see the excitement for you all to get yours as soon as it gets available. Year after year, what was something only between us in Brazil, became a special celebration here in Canada.

Available in Large and Petit, both filled with our creamier version of Classic Brigadeiro made with 54% chocolate. It’s perfect as a gift or for your ultimate Holiday dessert… Plus, you can make it even fancier adding a Furoshiki fabric wrapping ;)

…and we did our first 🎄🍫

This beautiful Christmas project was a work of love and… Lots of challenges from running out of time, difficult in the productions for new creations we never made before, from the dimensions for the design and well… It turned out beautifully specially when we saw all your excitement to open them and for a few people it was their first Advent Calendar and their first Christmas in Canada. How special!!!
