Some shops install valves, slides, and bells.

At Divitt, we also install the high notes by hand. Very technical stuff😂😂

This horn plays incredibly well, looks absolutely stunning, and I’m so excited for the customer to get it in their hands.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Muneeb Hermans from South Africa to the shop last week 🎺🔥🔥🔥

In this video, Muneeb is playing our new Laurentian model, and it was such a joy hearing him bring the horn to life right here in the shop💯

He sounded incredible, and he was an absolute pleasure to meet. We’re already looking forward to having him back next year for a full day of playing through all the models and finding the perfect horn for him.

With professional trumpet prices continuing to rise, we set out to create something different: a truly versatile professional instrument, built in our Toronto workshop and priced at just $2,500 CAD!!

The Laurentian features a medium-large Hoxon valve block, a red-brass Hoxon 72-style bell, German-made bracing and mouthpiece receiver, and an in-house developed leadpipe taper.

Every Laurentian is carefully assembled and finished by us. We believe it’s this attention to detail that gives the instrument its rich tone, responsive feel, and exceptional playability🎶

The Laurentian comes standard with solid brass finger buttons. For an additional $50, you can personalize yours with synthetic inlays—including a matching inlay on the third-slide stop screw🔥

Some moments are hard to put into words. Some moments are bigger than business💯

Ryan Kisor has been our favourite lead trumpet player for as long as we can remember. We’ve spent countless hours listening to his playing, and like so many trumpet players, he’s been a huge source of inspiration.

So receiving a video of Ryan practicing with the Divitt Practice Mute was a pretty special moment. Seeing someone we’ve looked up to for so many years using something we’ve created is incredibly humbling.
