It’s crazy to think that we’ve been in Toronto for 4 months. For a long time I felt like I was on an extended visit but I’m finally starting to feel like it’s my home now. Though I badly miss the familiarity and the community that was Regina, I’m also loving the newness and anonymity that this ginormous city offers. I could literally do cartwheels🤸♂️down the street and nobody would give a sh*t…though I’m not quite there yet (as if I could do a cartwheel 😆).
SkinWishes has been popping up at different markets around the city and, at the end of October, we will be in a new pop-up shop called for the holiday season. Not gonna lie, sliding into the market here is daunting. In a city where literally everything is at your fingertips, it’s challenging because at a glance SkinWishes is just another skincare brand (there literally hundreds of them here). So that’s what I’m working on…showing the people of Toronto what makes SkinWishes worth taking a chance on.
