Sticks n Bones Studios

Sticks n Bones Studios Hand crafted artwork, using all natural materials sourced locally. Usually guided by a feather or charm. Like dew on a spiderweb.

In the Algonquin tradition, dream catchers or are used to help filter good dreams from the bad. They work by catching bad dreams in their webbing and holding them, while allowing good dream to pass though the hole in the center. The bad dreams will then be burnt away in the morning sun.

As an Algonquin person, the beaver has been an integral part of our culture. You can see it in the language, and in the amount of words we have for beaver.
Personally a good portion of my livelihood came from beavers. My dad was a trapper all my life and beaver pelts helped put food on the table for us in a very real way.
I've started using beaver fur in my moccasins. It might be a bit more expensive but its worth the cost and to me the best part is the feeling of coming full circle back to the beaver 🦫

Beaver fur moccasins are all $135.00

Hi Everyone! I'm still here! In the process of revamping the website, teaching big workshops and doing custom orders. Here is one i just finished! Just look at how beautiful this branch came out!

Also it is clear I need to paint the wall if I am going to continue to use it as a backdrop. Do I keep it white, or add some colour? πŸ€”

As always reach out to me here, or literally anywhere if you'd like a custom piece.
