I’ve always loved the process of creating something from nothing.

Every pattern you see on my scarves started with me sitting down and drawing it by hand. Some designs come from memories, some from things I believe in, and some simply begin with a feeling that I want to turn into something visual.

That part of the process is very personal to me.

I think, in a way, it’s also why I loved teaching. I’ve always enjoyed sharing ideas with people — whether it was through a classroom, a conversation, or now through something I create.

Every scarf has its own meaning, but I also like that once it leaves my hands, it can mean something completely different to the person wearing it.

And now, being so close to becoming a mother, I’ve been feeling especially grateful that I get to create things that are so personal to me and share them with other people.

I don’t know exactly where this journey will take me, but I know I want to keep making things that come from a real place.
