When you have "Dreams" of your tone being "Unchained"…
We love building “tribute” rigs for clients who love playing songs by their favourite guitarist. I think we all know who the “One In My Mind” the client meant here.
What a pleasure to be given license to re-interpret some classic rig building innovations by one of the most innovative players of all time!
With our shop’s background in the concert touring industry before moving into rig building fulltime, we can offer some of our tribute rig build clients unique access to the real thing.
In the past we have facilitated connections between our clients and their favourite artists that have allowed our clients to purchase guitars and other items from the players whose rig we’re building a tribute to.
In some instances, we have been able to obtain original rig plans from the player whose rig we’ll be emulating.
From our sources, we were able to obtain information from a few different iterations of tone that lets you know exactly “When It’s Love”. Tonally it’s a “Best of Both Worlds” arrangement.
This rig moves air in way that literally “Feels So Good”. It’s a Wet / Dry / Wet tone configuration that you can ride like a never-ending wave of “Can’t Stop Lovin’ You” high gain good times.
The signal path for this “Top of The World” tone machine is;

The DI is used when stage space does not allow for 3 cabs. The rig can also be operated in a Mono Dry Amp + Stereo Wet Monitors, or Stereo Wet/Dry Blended Amps, or Wet/Dry/Wet Summed to Mono configurations as well.
Switching between the modes is as easy as flipping a switch on the custom system interface.
We always use premium grade materials and tools that sound great and will last a player for decades.
This system is wired with a combination of task specific cables by Evidence Audio. Reveal for the Input Cable. Blackrock for signal between the Pedalboard and Amps. Monorail on the pedalboard. Siren for Speaker Cables. Source for Amp Power Cables.
The system power supply is the standard setting Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 3+.
Upon client request we can program your system with presets to emulate your favourite artists so that you can spend more time enjoying your rig from the minute you take it home from our shop.
Every rig we deliver is preprogrammed with template presets for the client to copy and paste from, as well as any custom repertoire programming on demand.
Each rig we build reflects each client’s unique criteria, and our imagination.
One of the unique features in this rig is the Echo Plex Delay’s Tap Tempo is being sent by a MIDI Macro to our System Interface, where a MIDI controlled relay cycles to tap the stored song tempo upon loading the song in the set list.
The same Macro globally clocks in the SDE-3000 and the MicroPitch on a per preset basis.
