BAKER WANTED! Are you an up and coming baker looking for a way to gain exposure?? Then this could be your opportunity! The Pegasus Shop is looking for someone who could host a bakery pop up outside of our shoppe on Sunday June 14 from 11-4 during the Kingston Rd Village Spring Fest weekend. This could be a great opportunity to showcase your tasty treats and mingle with the KRV east end community. As this is a community centred event it is important that you are apart of the Kingston Road Village community as well. Happy Volunteer week to our Thursday crew; Cris, Nicole, Carol and Joyce! Chris loves chatting with customers and working the cash, customers often make a special stop to the store when Chris is in, hoping to catch his million dollar smile. Nicole is our clothing organizing guru, Carol is our resident librarian; always keeping the books in tip top shape while Joyce is the jewelry Queen, always finding the good stuff and organizing the jewelry cabinet. Happy Volunteer week! truly couldn’t do what we do without the help of our participant and community volunteers. Today we are celebrating Jason and Diane who help out every Tuesday. Jason brings so much fun and enthusiasm to the shoppe every time he’s in. He especially enjoys sorting and pricing clothing. Diane is our resident artist and loves sorting and putting out clothing as well as sorting housewares.

This Saturday at East Minister United Church, located at 310 danforth Ave., The Toronto Chill of the granny basketball league will be holding a fundraising game for the
Tickets for the game are $10 to either be played at the doors, or at the Pegasus Shoppe @ 931 Kingston rd
The Toronto Chill and the granny basketball league is for women over age 50. Younger players who are participating have to wear oven mitts to make it fair. Should be a hoot!

Doors open at 12:30 and tip off is at 1pm
