Yolanda grew up listening to her grandparents' stories about the excellent quality of Peruvian cocoa and the tradition of pastry-making introduced by the French colony. Her maternal grandmother, a native of Peru, shared ancestral secrets about cocoa cultivation and processing, while her paternal grandfather was a French pastry chef who taught her the beauty of refined flavours. Traditionally, her
grandfather would mention an iconic phrase when one of the desserts he prepared turned out to be delicious: "C'est Magnifique! In honour of her grandfather and in order to continue the tradition of creating high quality and exquisite tasting chocolates, Yolanda decided to call "C'est Magnifique" this new adventure where Peruvian cocoa is the protagonist.
