The Bolokelen Malinke Percussion "Ecole de Djembe" hosts regular weekly drum classes, sponsors and organizes drumming related events, and keeps the drumming community informed via email bulletins - and now, Facebook! Current weekly class schedule at Bolokelen:

Mondays: 7:30 - 9:00 pm, Beginner Djembe & Dunun with Anna Melnikoff

Thursdays: 7:30 - 9:30 pm, Beginner/Intermediate Djembe & Dunun with

Anna Melnikoff

Private classes can be scheduled on request; I'm also happy to travel out to your community to teach group classes for adults or children of all levels.

Apologies to my students for the short notice, tomorrow's 12 noon drum class is canceled. I'm enrolled in a weekend-long zoom course for career development.

Still buzzing from a fantastic weekend in Montreal, taking some intensive workshops with the incomparable Dartagnan Camara. Such a generous teacher in so many ways, my heart is overflowing ❤️❤️❤️ He gifted us not only with an unforgettable performance, but he and our gracious host Eric Lafontaine made all of us a wonderful dinner. I'm filled with gratitude that I am connected with these brilliant, wonderful people!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
