***Attention***
The current Bill 174 proposal poses a giant risk to the Va**ng community of Ontario. For those that aren't aware, this bill is being pushed as a cannabis legalization bill, but section 3 of the bill actually pertains directly to the subject of Va**ng.
The current government's call for bans on advertising, merchandising, flavours, etc., would not only jeopardize the livelihood of many individuals who are proud to be a part of the va**ng industry, but would more importantly jeopardize the success that we as individuals have had in quitting smoking.
All of those hard days, weeks, months, spent getting over our dangerous addiction to ci******es brought to an end at the hands of a government who clearly doesn't have the best interests of its residents at heart. We deserve more, and we definitely need to understand that such a topic deserves it's own conversation, separate from one which couldn't have less to do with the topic in which it is currently grouped, the legalization of Cannabis.
The time has come to unite once again. We must stand against bill 174 and make our voices heard so that we can protect our right to V**e.
If Va**ng has changed your life has it has ours, we ask you take the time to sign a petition, contact your local MPP and voice your opinion, spread the message to your friends and family who might v**e. Support the industry which has supported you, or it might not be there when push comes to shove.
